Under provisions of the Statutes approved by the Holy See, the council (delegates body of the AIC) elects an Executive Board composed of a President, four (4) Vice Presidents, and sixteen (16) members. The ecclesiastical advisers are: the Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission, successor of the Founder of the Charities, guarantor of the authenticity of the original spirit; a priest named by the Holy See as Assistant Adviser; and the Superioress of the Daughters of Charity.
