Science Olympiad is a team-based competition of a wide variety of science events, where students work in pairs or groups of three to study a STEM topic and set of rules, prepare for competition (whether that's a test, a skill they have to demonstrate, or a device they have to build and test) and compete against other teams in from all over Virginia and the country. Lake Braddock has three teams (the max allowed by Nationals) each comprised of 15 students (with restrictions on how many seniors can compete).
