Virginia Country Club Playing Policy and Sign-up Procedure

In appreciation for the outstanding work that the LB Fire Department provides for the community, the Virginia Country Club (VCC) members have granted the privilege of one foursome of active or retired members of LBFD to play at their golf facility on Mondays, at 12:00 or 1:00 pm. Tee time will alternate weekly between police and fire.

VCC would like only one contact person for each department. Tony Mejia has offered to be the F.D. contact and provide VCC with names in the foursome. VCC has also requested we give them the names of the foursome three weeks prior to the golf date. If no foursome signs up, the tee-time will be given away. Email or text Tony the names in your foursome, as well as one contact number for the foursome. If your name is not on the VCC list at the proshop, you WILL BE PROHIBITED from playing that day. If you are prohibited from playing, do not confront the VCC staff. If you are unable to play on the day you signed up for, please contact Tony.

To give the retirees an opportunity, we will take active duty sign ups one month out. If no active foursome signs up, retirees will be allowed to sign up until three weeks out. After that, the tee-time will be lost.
