LAZ Light & Sound Solutions is a private, independent service operated by a minor and is not a registered business. All bookings are made on a private, informal basis. Payment is made directly to me as an individual. By enquiring, you acknowledge and accept these terms!
Terms & Conditions - the basics
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only considered confirmed once a deposit has been received and written confirmation has been provided by LAZ Light & Sound Solutions. Until this point, the date remains available to other clients and no guarantee of availability can be given.
2. Deposit & Payment
All bookings require a deposit of between 30–50% of the total agreed fee, payable upon confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the event, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.
3. Cancellations
Should you need to cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may result in the full outstanding balance becoming payable, as resources and time will have been committed specifically to your event.
4. Rescheduling
We are happy to transfer your deposit to a new date where possible, subject to availability. All rescheduling requests must be made in writing.
5. Performance & Equipment
LAZ Light & Sound Solutions will provide all agreed equipment and services as discussed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to substitute equipment of equal or greater specification where necessary. We cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power failures, venue restrictions, or access issues.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for ensuring suitable access to the venue, adequate power supply, and a safe working environment for our equipment and personnel. Any damage to our equipment caused by the Client or guests will be the Client’s financial responsibility.
7. Music & Licensing
LAZ Light & Sound Solutions operates in compliance with UK music licensing obligations. The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue holds the appropriate premises licence for live or recorded music where required.
8. Liability
LAZ Light & Sound Solutions shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fee paid for the booking in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
