There is comfort to be found in the most unexpected of places

The choices we make

Fitting into place

No Matter the weights, comfort in the prospect of journeys to be made and knowing that change is the only constant

Rust & bleach dying process

Fixing the rust into fabric by applying vinegar and leaving to imprint to take a snapshot of a changing matter.

Sewing as though mending memories

Map drawn while walking

Spraying around and coating objects in diluted bleach, leaving to seep in.

Burning a hole through belonging

Clay Process

Hollow forms made to be held.

Some closed with other forms inside to create a sound once fired.

Texture made by imprinting found objects.

Applied Ilmenite, copper, cobalt oxide and some mystery glaze

These spaces on the edge of places provide

comfort like no human made creation

The wild and free anything can be

Stretching out to cover all uncertainty

Stretching out to smother

All the itty bitty thoughts

That tipity tap away

Stretching out as far as a feeling can travel

And then further

Spinning, tumbling, turning, churning

Saying I feel you yearning

Can you feel the earth turning?

Saying you'll keep learning

And you'll keep feeling that burning inside

That's how you know your alive
