To hold a position in the organization you must be a member of BAP and meet all the requirements to be a member. Once these requirements are met, all you must do is attend the election day meeting and run for a position. If more than one person wants to run for a position, everyone will vote on who they believe should hold that position. A list of the positions that can be run for are as follows: President-Elect (becomes president the following semester), Reporter, Treasurer, VP-Fundraising, and VP-Volunteering.

Reach out to firms to schedule meetings for Fall semester
Ask for donations
Participate and lead the weekly meetings
Communicate with the advisors and executive members to accomplish the organization's tasks
Coordinate the executive members election every year
Participate and support Beta Alpha Psi’s events if possible
Order pizza for meetings
Make document of semester schedules of meetings
Communicate with firms to plan the next semester’s meetings in advance.
There is a contacts list with firms’ recruiter contact information on it to fulfill this task.
Assist the President in any tasks.
Lead meetings when the President is unable to do so.
Take attendance at every meeting and keep all records in binder
Add any new emails to “Weekly Email” contact list on gmail account
Enter full-time members into BAP national website
Report professional hours to the national website
Email professors copy of attendance for professional development and extra credit
Send out all emails (meeting reminders, announcements, anything as needed)
Update bulletin board in accountancy department
Update SFO Account Contacts at the Cashier’s Office (you will get emailed statements monthly to match with GL)
Coordinate payments for activities as needed
Reimburse officers when money is spent out of pocket (check requisitions - forms in binder or at Cashier’s Office)
Collect/make membership/pledge dues deposits
Reconcile ledger accounts for ongoing club processes (in the GL journal)
Complete and update financial statements (Due in April)
Deposit money at the Cashier’s Office (Forms are provided there)
Make schedule for volunteers for Tutor Center
Keep track of all members’ volunteer and professional hours (spreadsheet)
Find volunteer opportunities for the club to do and get volunteers to go to them
Report volunteer hours to the national website
Set up volunteers for rotary lights
Communicate with officers in order to facilitate fundraising events
Create slides for meetings when needed
Keep track of instagram; post reminders, meeting flyers, and events
Get apparel orders put together and reach out to companies for orders
Go to all accounting classes 311 and under within the first few weeks of each semester to share the opportunities that Beta Alpha Psi presents to accounting students
Obtain a list of the classes from the Dean of the Accounting Department
Email all professors informing them of your appearance
