LawForAll

A book donation service dedicated to bridging barriers faced by our next generation of lawyers.

How does it work?

We aim to provide students from low income backgrounds with the textbooks, experience and resources they need to excel.

For Students:

Welcome! We hope we can help. If you believe that you are eligible and would benefit from our service:

  1. Firstly, check our stock list. This can be found via the link in top right corner of this page.

  2. Please send us an email with a brief overview of your situation and the resources you need. If the resource you need is ‘in stock’, let us know!

  3. You will then be invited for a telephone or Zoom interview to assess your needs – this will take no longer than 5 minutes. Every student will receive this and nobody is rejected outright.

  4. After our chat, we will either post and organise your request or advise you of your options.

For Donors:

First of all, thank you! There are two ways for you to donate to LawForAll:

  1. If you would like to sponsor a student and pay for a textbook:
Please follow our Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn pages. These pages will be displaying requests. Then send us a message. Alternatively, you can send us an email stating the donation you would like to make. We will then contact you when a student request is within your donation range.

  2. If you would like to donate books:
Please send us an email with the textbook, book or resource you wish to donate along with its date of publication. As you will know, legal resources can be useless within a matter of months...let alone years! Your donated resource will be added to our stock list. If your resource is then requested, we will contact you with information on how to post* directly to the eligible student.

*At the moment we are unable to cover your postage costs. Please be aware that book donations at present would require you to pay post and packing. We are researching our options and hope that we will have a platform soon for receiving donations to cover such costs.
