As founder and AI Team Leader, Laurent launched EasyAutoML.com in 2020 and built its engineering base in Lviv, Ukraine. The project was designed to eliminate the traditional complexity of machine learning by enabling users to create Convolutional Neural Networks directly from Excel files, making advanced AI accessible to non-technical professionals and small businesses.

In this role, he acted as AI Architect, Technical Project Manager, and Product Strategist:

• Architected the full software framework of EasyAutoML, ensuring a scalable, modular, and reliable platform suitable for both experimentation and production use.

• Transformed business requirements into practical AI solutions, advising users and partners on ML strategy, model deployment, and data workflows.

• Led and mentored a remote engineering team in Ukraine, implementing Agile processes, code reviews, and continuous integration practices to maintain consistent delivery quality.

• Managed technical challenges end-to-end — from model optimization and bug fixing to performance tuning and UX simplification.

• Drove product and marketing strategy, positioning EasyAutoML as a unique no-code AI tool and promoting its open-source engine to foster community adoption.

• Democratized AI creation by enabling professionals without programming knowledge to build, train, and evaluate neural networks through a simple tabular interface.
