Theatre for Kids is an original children's musical production program created by Jeremy Laurence at Lakeland College in Lloydminster/Vermilion in 2006.
This program grew and expanded until the Performing Arts Department and the position of director of Performing Arts was abolished in 2012.
The Theatre for Kids program, however, lived on as Mr. Laurence moved into the public school arena. The process and original scripts of Theatre for Kids were adapted for whole elementary participation, leading to a very positive evolution of elementary school Christmas 'concerts' being converted into full-scale theatrical productions.
After five years of sharing his expertise in theatre with the public system, Mr. Laurence is now ready to again, evolve and share his theatre program directly with parents and young actors.
