I have an internal drive to empathize with my fellow living creatures on this planet. I show my love and admiration for the natural world through both my work and practice. Recreating the natural wonders that I take in on a daily basis has been my main source of subject matter. Working towards a completely sustainable practice that does not harm the place I call home, is important to me. As a creator I do not want waste and pollution to be part of that creation. To do this I work with the materials I find in my day-to-day life. Eventually my goal is to use completely sustainable energy in my studio. Every living thing is just as significant as the rest. Humans are no more important to the Earth than the small bugs that pollinate the fruits and vegetables that we eat, and the fungi that will inevitably decompose us all. I am very intrigued by the natural processes that come with living on this planet. We are incredibly lucky to be able to live on a planet filled with so much life. My work is meant to put humans in their rightful place, as protectors of the Earth, not conquerors.
