Beyond Preschool

Summer, P.A. Day, Holiday and Pop-up Camps

For the past 13 years I have also been offering part-time camps in the summer, on P.A. Days, Holidays and random weekends. These camps are multi-age and usually focus on accommodating siblings. In the summer of 2023, I also started offering "patio nights" which were evening camps so parents could go out for dinner. All camp dates depend on my availability and interest from families.

Haircuts

For the past few years I have been cutting a number of toddlers and children's hair in my house. I used to only cut my own children and friends children's' hair, but it has unexpectedly blossomed into a bit of hobby with regular returning customers. I am definitely not trained but I enjoy cutting hair and specialize in making the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Please contact me if interested.

Before and After School Care

For years I have provided sporadic before and after school care for families when needed. I have also helped families out when their nanny or regular caregivers are unavailable. More recently I have provided regular afterschool care for multiple families. During the afterschool hours I provide activities as well as homework help and tutoring. My availability is limited, but it is something I may be able to offer.

One on One Support

If you feel your child would benefit from one on one support in any aspect of their young lives (for example, basic educational skills, speech and language, fine motor skills, behaviour management, socialization etc.), I am happy to try to help. While I am not an OT, SLP, or registered therapist, I wish I was, and I feel like I have the skills, patience and experience that could either help make positive changes in your child, or help you recognize what additional professional supports you may need or would be appropriate for your situation. Parenting Consultation

If you ever have questions or concerns about your children, their future education, or your parenting, I am available to talk things through with you. My experience running my preschool, my own experience raising four children, and my professional experiences has given me a lot of insight and knowledge that I am willing to share and explore with you. I love researching, problem solving and coming up with viable recommendations and options to try out.
