Resources

Dear Families,

These are uniquely difficult times.  Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help in any way.  There are plenty of resources available through the school community and the community at large.  Below you'll find a lengthly list of resources for various types of assistance.  Knowing that the task of going through this list may feel daunting, you can always reach out to us (Laura Biffar and Daniel Lofgren) and we can help to get you in touch with the right people/supports.  We are here for you in these isolating and strange times!

The New York State School Social Workers' Association's Website is a great resource during this very difficult time. The following is the link to the webpage:

nyssswa.org/crisis-response/coronavirus-school-response-resources/

The section titled Resources for Children and Parents has lots of good information including how to discuss the Coronavirus with your child and activities to do while at home from school.

The UNICEF website has information about how to support children through the coronavirus outbreak. You can find this information by going to: unicef.org

**We have some school supplies (glue, glue sticks, pencils, crayons, markers, composition books, folders, and  pencil cases) for anyone who needs them.  Please email us if you are interested.
