Laura Thoresen is a graduate of the Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance at Rutgers University. Prior experience includes almost two decades of experience working with students in public schools. She has held the positions of School Psychologist, Principal, Director of Student Services and Director of Special Services.

Since 2018, Laura has worked as an Executive Function Coach. This has afforded her a wealth of experience and knowledge regarding coaching and working with individuals with various backgrounds and challenges/goals. During this time, Laura coached adults as well as college and graduate students.

Laura graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelors of Arts and Masters Arts in General Theoretical Psychology and received her NJ State certificate as a School Psychologist.  As a lifetime learner, Laura attended and graduated from Caldwell College where she received her second Masters in Educational Supervision and Administration. She later received her NJ State certificate as a Principal. 

Laura is also a mentor for the New Jersey Principal Supervisor Association Leader to Leader Program where she assists new administrators enter their new positions and learn to navigate their new job and challenges that they will face.  Previously Laura, in association with NJPSA, developed and presented professional development programs for school districts within New Jersey.
