Foundations of Learning, Cognition and Human Development
This course is a foundation course of learning, cognition, and human development, designed to help students learn basic theories in learning, cognition, and human development and have their own conceptual framework to interpret various theories and principles. This is an 8-week fully online course and gives the students opportunities to apply the theories to their own teaching and learning. Throughout the course, the students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the theories and principles of neuroscience, development, learning in behaviorism and cognitivism, motivation, creativity, intelligence, and application of the principles for teaching and learning.
