My research examines how socio-spatial inequalities shape people's lives, from their health and educational chances, to their political orientations and sense of place in society. Drawing primarily on quantitative methods and longitudinal data, I analyse how community deprivation, class dynamics, and individual trajectories interact across places, social origins, and life stages, and how the resulting inequalities are reproduced across generations.
I am currently a Junior Lecturer within the LIVES Centre and the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lausanne. I obtained in November 2023 my PhD in Sociology from the Centre for Research on Social Inequalities (CRIS) at Sciences Po in Paris. I am also affiliated to the Centre for Social Science Research at University of Cape Town (UCT).
