For more than 20 years, I taught marketing at UCLA, USC, MIT, and UC San Diego, helping young people explore ideas, gain confidence, and prepare for what came next.
That background shapes the way I approach college admissions. Marketing and entrepreneurship taught me to ask good questions, understand audiences, identify what is genuinely distinctive, and turn a great deal of information into a coherent strategy.

College admissions can quickly become overwhelming. Course selection, testing, college research, activities, essays, deadlines, and competing advice can leave students uncertain and parents feeling responsible for keeping everything on track.
I provide the structure, perspective, and accountability students need to move forward with confidence while allowing parents to step back from the role of project manager.
I intentionally limit the number of students I advise each year so that every family receives individualized guidance, timely feedback, and consistent support from beginning to end.

Some families begin as early as 10th grade, when there is time to consider coursework, activities, summer opportunities, and emerging academic interests. Others begin in 11th or 12th grade as college research and applications take center stage.
There is no single right starting point. My guidance is tailored to each student's priorities, timeline, and individual needs.
