Can anyone here please help me with this?? Having the capability to stream my TV out of home, Is one of the big things Channels makes possible with a Hdhr. It was a reason i was looking at Tablo, and one of the reasons i ended up with Channels. But as it turns out, with both tablo and Channels i couldn't set up the Port forwarding, So i couldn't make use of the out of home streaming feature.

The issue is. I get my wifi from my landlord, so i bought myself a Router that i use as a repeater. So now how the hell can i setup the port forwarding?? I do have access to my landlords router and settings. But i had no luck setting it up.

Still sounds like you have a port forwarding issue. One of the things you will need to make sure that is turned on is NAT hairpinning aka (NAT loopback). Otherwise you will not be able to connect to yourself on your own network. The other part of it is you should assign your dvr server to a reserved ip. So your lan ip doesn't change. Then you can assign the correct port 8089 using TCP to that servers ip address for port forwarding.

Ok. So I logged into router. When I open the port forwarding menu, it shows me all connected devices, but I won't see my server there cause it doesn't show any of my devices connected to my repeater, it only shows what's connected directly to it. So the only thing I have there that's mine. Is my repeaters ip address, that's showing up as connected, I tried forwarding 8089 on that. But doesn't work, remote viewing still not working

My second option was to MITM the android app with an SSL proxy and custom CA and with great success, i got the ins and outs of the android app (websockets) and created a python bridge (HomewizardWebsocketsToMQTT). There were 2 problems: Every 30min a reconnect and we still needed the homewizard cloud connection. After all, the bridge was merely an android app emulation.

Is this still working for you guys? When i monitor the network traffic from the Infrared Heater i only see one connection when i DNS resolving that address it says bc.googleusercontent.com and not m.cloud.homewizard.com

OK, did you try configuring port forwarding for the ports listed in my post above ?

I see port 443 is already going to 192.168.0.13 as is 80. These ports are http and https. Is 192.168.0.13 your hub ? If yes they you are OK, if no then this is a conflict. What is that device and do you need it configured this way. If you have a computer running a webserver it would need these ports for example.

Based on my understanding you have a modem which has the public address and providing DHCP to the firewall's X1 interface. For users to connect using GVC, they would need to use that public address. But for successful connection, you would need to set up a port forwarding on the modem to forward UDP 500, 4500 and ESP traffic to the private X1 IP of the SonicWall. The steps for that is dependent on the modem you are using.

If you ISP allows that, yes you can assign the public IP directly on the SonicWall's X1 interface. If not, just leave the port forwarding on your upstream router from 217.x.x.x to 192.168.100.3 and use the 217.x.x.x IP on the client side to connect using VPN.

We are still working on the Public Ip adress part. Currently the Public IP is dynamic. And I was able to get the VPN Client connected using this dynamic IP adresss and port forwarding to 193.168.100.3.

I am unable to get Tablo Connect to work. I went into the Camocast cable modem and put it in bridge mode. Next I went into my Netgear R6300v2 router and turned UnP off. Then I set ups port forwarding per the attached picture.

1. To use port forwarding on your ASUS router, your router needs to have a public IP(WAN IP) from your ISP's internet service. This will allow devices on the internet to locate your ASUS router via a public IP(WAN IP).
