Warm-Up

Let's move our spine!

In this video, we start with deliberate spinal movements to restore the range of motion within our spine, then we finish with core stability and strengthening exercises to make sure we have a strong support for our stance when we start our taiko practice!

The spine is our body's central support structure. Somewhere along the way, most of us forgot how to use the connection between our spine and our limbs to function the way we're supposed to. By restoring the natural mobility and strength of our spine, we'll be able to unleash the potential stored inside of us and perform to our optimum potential, and, hopefully, play taiko for much longer with fewer injuries!
