Latin America is Moving Collective started from the organisation of a few academics in Europe and Latin America on a central theme: the desire to make academic knowledge more proactive in making a statement against the increased precarisation of living and growing inequality experienced globally and exploring the relationship between academia & activism in order to meet this need. We are a horizontal and loose network supporting those political movements that work around social and ecological justice in Latin America.
Latin America is Moving Collective is formed out of all the people who have participated in Latin America is Moving - activities. They are activists, university lecturers, doctoral students, journalists & human rights advocates.
