Evangelist Latanya Brown, C.R.T. (M)(F) is a radiologic technologist raised in East Oakland, who graduated from radiology school in 1999 for Kaiser School of Allied Health Sciences in Richmond, Ca, by the grace of God as a single Mother. For over twenty years she worked at Kaiser Hospital as an X-ray Tech in an acute healthcare setting. Her specialty areas are Computed Tomography (CT cat scan) and the C-Arm in the operating room. She started of as a certified nurse assistant/home health and hospice aide in 1994 and recently has obtained a single teaching credential in CTE Healthcare and Technology. At the tender age of forty she founded a church and called it, Blood of Jesus Christ Ministry Inc., and out of that ministry in 2011 has started an outreach youth ministry to low income underserved families, called Horseback Ministry Inc.
The mission is to be the link from a world of poverty to the corporate world, serving at risk youth and their families that often fall through the cracks. This came natural because since age 20yrs., she was a dedicated volunteer at Highland Hospital and then started working with disadvantaged youth from broken homes of violence. She does mentoring and tutoring for disabled student with IEP's, recreational field trips and sports. But her favorite if hosting Summer Vacation Bible School and back to school Health Fair block parties annually. Partnering with Toys for Tots, West Fresno Police Department (Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back To Life), Crossover Community Church and a host of neighbors and friends. Trying to encourage the youth and parents providing with all the community resources we can. Proving assistance to schedule annual children's physical, dental check-ups, eye exams, helping multiple families with emergency shelter, transportation to sign up for school and emergency food program.
She was born January 14, 1970 in Chicago IL. however, presently reside in Fresno, Ca since 2018. She is the oldest child of four brothers. She is the mother with a great son, and four smart amazing grandchildren, three of which have graduated and are attending college.
