Fremont Street

We loved Fremont Street which is the old Las Vegas (see the smoking cowboy below), along with its huge walkthru mall open 24-hours featuring a massive LED canopy, aka the Viva Vision canopy and light show, and of course casino & restaurant access & free entertainment.

Street musicians, bands, and other performers, really put on a one of a kind expereince and show. Many many shops, booths, ect featuring various wares, paintings, jewelery, clothing, ect. If you go to Vegas and skip this you have missed a great expereince.

This tourist driven destination plays host to many activities and shops, here you will get some classic neon marquees and some gifts shops. While Las Vegas is known for not turning off the outside casino lights, the FSE tends to read from a different script. Here each show begins by turning off the lights on all of the buildings this also includes the casinos under the canopy.

The massive dome canopy is sight all in itself and is actually a LED screen that 1500 ft long.
