Our journey began with a significant milestone – the first drive of Last Benchers Association, held at Little Star School. This event was more than just a G.K. Quiz competition; it was the realization of a long-held dream and a testament to our commitment to education. The overwhelming love and affection we received from the children reaffirmed our mission.
The inspiration for this initiative stems from impactful movies like "Chillar Party" and "Hichki," which taught us the importance of gratitude and the power of education. These experiences motivated us to share our knowledge and time for social welfare. With the support of our dedicated team, we successfully organized this event, making a lasting impression on the students.
On May 27, 2024, Last Benchers Association conducted its second drive at Little Star School, focusing on environmental education and wildlife protection. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the severe impact of heatwaves on birds and other animals during the summer.
During this drive, we engaged children of various age groups in a hands-on activity where they learned to make water dispensers for birds. This project not only educated the students about the importance of wildlife conservation but also empowered them to take practical steps to help animals in their community. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by the children were truly inspiring, as they eagerly participated in crafting these life-saving devices.
