Sourabh Chatterjee is the heart and driving force behind Last Benchers Association , a passionate advocate for education and community welfare based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. His journey into social work began during his formative years at St. Al Haneef Educational Centre, where he developed a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact in society.
Driven by a vision to empower through education and promote safety and health awareness, Sourabh embarked on his career at the age of 17. Over the years, he has accumulated nearly two years of hands-on experience in the field, shaping his dedication to creating meaningful change.
Under Sourabh's leadership, Last Benchers Association was established with a clear mission: to ensure every child in India has access to quality education and essential knowledge about safety and health. Guided by the motto "SHE (Safe, Healthy, and Educated)", Sourabh and his team work tirelessly to elevate education standards and foster a secure environment for the nation's youth.
MD. Sahil Siddiqui or Aiden Carvel [not his real name], is a talented photographer and aspiring filmmaker. Although he joined Last Benchers Association as a photographer in May 2024, he somehow found himself becoming the General Secretary, much to his own surprise.
With no prior background in social work, Aiden is relatively new to this field. He is, however, a founding member of Ek Soch News channel, where he serves as a manager, video editor, cameraman, and creative director. Aiden even created this website and, believe it or not, is also the one writing this content. Quite professional, right?
