A Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.

Their Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. They believe that when a child is hospitalized the love and support of family is as powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed.

The way they can afford to give the families a place to stay for free is through multiple fundraisers. The largest one by far is the pop tabs collection. Those small rings on top of your soda can, can make the difference between giving a family a free place to live or not. If you take a minute to pull the pop tabs off of every can you drink, you can make a huge difference. Since 1998 The Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses have donated 148,000 dollars from this fundraiser alone.

Because of the rivalry between Lassiter, Pope, and Walton we have decided to make the pop tabs a competition between the three school. Lets win and show the three schools who can fundraise the most.

HOW TO HELP: BRING IN YOU POP TABS FROM SODA CANS TO ROOM 826! EVERY 25 CAN RINGS EQUALS ONE HOUR OF COMMUNITY SERVICE!

This is a supply drive that will go to help provide products to women and children in temporary housing who are seeking education and skills to obtain work and find a permanent living situation. Any donations are appreciated greatly!
