For this assignment I had to analyze two articles about cyber attacks. In my analysis, I had to describe the nature of the cyber attack, and how to protect from it. I also had to evaluate the tow sources found.

The non-profit organization, Cherry Street Services, experienced a ransomware attack in December. The attack reportedly stole data from 184,372 people, like payment information and passwords. To protect themselves from an attack of this nature. The organization could install better security software. They could also monitor their network activity better.

Users of Last Pass were phished. All users of Last Pass who fell for the phishing were affected. Typical data, like passwords, were accessed. To prevent this from happening Last Past can make users hyperaware of the tricks used in this version of phishing. Also, users can implement two-factor authentications so they are positive that they are signing into official sites.

Lessons Learned
In this module I learned a lot about cyber attacks. I knew vaguely about some of the types of attack, but I wasn't certain about ransomware and phising. I learned about about how they worked and how to protect myself from them.
