Instructions - Video

An video competition will be organised as part of Laryngology Summit 2021. The video competition will be in the form of short 5 minute video presentation uploaded on YouTube and showcased. The videos can be in the form of ePapers / operative steps / procedures / educational videos / case presentations etc. The videos will be judged for scientific content, presentation and online interaction. The medium of the video should be in English only.

There are three categories

• Postgraduate students (participant should be currently enrolled in a post graduate program)

• Junior Consultants (<10yrs after obtaining PG degree),

• Senior Consultants (>10yrs after obtaining PG degree)

(PG degree- MS/DNB/ Diploma in any medical subject / MSc in Audiology / Speech Language Pathology / other allied health professionals).

• All participants are required to register for Laryngology Summit 2021 and submit their entries online only using the link provided.

• The video should be at maximum 05 minutes long and will need to be uploaded to YouTube by the participant on his / her own channel/ account.

• Only videos uploaded after 10 Sep 2021 will be considered. The visibility should be set as 'Unlisted' during the upload process on YouTube.

• To upload video on YouTube, You may refer to many video guides available for eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8yrblAj-V4 .

• The video should in Landscape mode only

• The medium of the video should be in English only

• The link of the uploaded video should then be included in the submission form.

• The video will be available for view to all registered delegates during the conference and showcased.

• Videos will be open for comments by all delegates and participants will be expected to reply to the comments.

• The video should include the title, names of all authors and affiliation.

• The video should clearly indicate that it is being submitted for the Laryngology Summit 2021.

• A participant can send in multiple videos entries. Each entry must be however separately submitted. The participant will be eligible for one prize only.

• The videos will be screened by a screening committee and selected participants will be intimated by email.

• The final selection / result will be at the sole discretion of the Scientific committee.
