Cancellations
Drop-in appointments: As long as cancellations are made 24 hours in advance, no charges will be added. If short notice cancellations are made, you are responsible for paying for the appointment(s) of the day.
Dog grooming and training: cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Repeat cancellations may result in being dropped as a client, or being required to pay in full to secure your appointment time.
Payment
Payment is accepted in three ways:
Cash (I do not carry change)
Personal check (there is a $25 penalty for bounced checks)
Venmo (@laradise-llc)
Ongoing weekly appointments can be paid for at either the beginning of the week or at the end.
First appointment: A downpayment of 50% must be made for drop-in services at scheduling.
All other trips: Full payment for drop-ins must be made by the first drop-in visit.
Other Policies
Laradise LLC. has the right to refuse services to anyone at any time.
I do not allow care-splitting, which is splitting pet care amongst more than 1 party. This causes liability issues for my insurance coverage. If I am not able to provide the services you need, I will do my best to refer you to another pet care professional.
If I am working at your home, your home must be a clean and safe environment for your pets and myself. If I do not feel that your home is safe, I have the right to cancel my appointment and any payment made in advance will be returned no questions asked.
If I am providing petsitting, I ask that nobody enters your home without my knowledge. This is because I am responsible for your property and your pets while you are away.
I do not mind being filmed while at work, but I ask that you disclose that you have cameras (nanny cams are becoming popular) around your house. I understand that many parents feel safer having their house filmed.
