FAQ's

How do I book a consultation or appointment?

Glad you asked! Click on the contact tab or scroll to the very bottom of each page to find my email and phone number. You can text, call, or email me to schedule a meeting, or ask for availability. My availability varies week by week, so be sure to give plenty of time for bookings.

Do you offer pet boarding?

I do not offer boarding in my home. All services are provided on a house-call basis.

What happens during a consultation?

A consultation will happen in your home to give us the opportunity to meet, and introduce myself to your pets. During our time, which is usually between 20-30 minutes, we will discuss accommodation, scheduling an appointment, and you are free to address any concerns or questions you may have.

What separates a dog-walker/pet-sitter from a professional pet-care provider?

This answer may very well be answered differently by different people. In my view, what separates a professional from a non-professional is experience, quality, and insurance. All pet-care services are covered under my insurance coverage through Pet Care Insurance, so you can rest-assured that if anything happens to your pets, property, or myself, there is protection.

Do you have specialized training for pet-care?

Yes, I do indeed. I have a Pet First Aid/CPR Certification which has taught me to access injuries and illness, stabilization, and safe transport an injured dog or cat. I am set on renewing this course every few years. In addition, I am certified in animal handling, as well as a certification as a rabies educator.

I have a dog, cat, snake, fish, and guinea pigs. Can I still get pet- sitting in my home?

Yes! I have experience with all of these animals, but extra fees will apply for more than three animals (fish will count as one per tank). Please see my pet-sitting section under "Services".

Do you have your own transportation?

Yes! I have a clean driving record and valid insurance.
