Lara M.J. Lorenzetti, PhD
Scientist I, FHI 360
Lara M.J. Lorenzetti, PhD is a Scientist I in the Behavioral, Epidemiological, and Clinical Sciences division at FHI 360. Her research focuses primarily on integrated approaches that improve the health and economic well-being of families in low- and middle-income countries, with an emphasis on household economic strengthening, social inclusion, and women’s empowerment. At FHI 360, Dr. Lorenzetti is responsible for the design and implementation of mixed-methods studies and has experience with program evaluation, econometric methods, systematic reviews, qualitative approaches, and policy analysis.
Prior to joining FHI 360, Dr. Lorenzetti worked on USAID-funded projects that promoted improved health policy, financing, governance, and evaluation. Dr. Lorenzetti received her PhD in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her BS in International Health from Georgetown University. She also serves as an adjunct assistant professor in Health Policy and Management at UNC.
