The Challenge Point (CP) total will indicate whether you should run the low or high range of your scenario.
Tables with fewer than 15 CP will always be in the low range.Â
Tables with 16-18 CP will be in the low range if they have 5 or more players; otherwise, they will be In the high range.
Tables with 18 or more CP will always be in the high range.
Characters at the adventure's base level (i.e., a level 3 in a 3-6 adventure) get a level bump when playing in a high-range game. Level bumps:
Increase all DCs by 1
Increase attack modifiers, attack damage, spell damage, saving throw modifiers, skill modifiers, Perception modifiers, and AC by 1
Increase the Hit Points total of the PC by 10 or by 10%, whichever Is higher
PCs may also benefit from mentor boons owned by higher-level players at the table.
