It’s time for the annual Pride in the Park located in downtown Lapeer, Michigan. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever! With many local businesses and community groups will be participating to celebrate and support our local LGBTQIA+ community. This event aims to make Lapeer a safe and welcoming place for everyone, regardless of gender expression or sexual orientation.
We are pleased to announce that, once again, we will be featuring vendor booths that offer both local businesses and crafters, as well as those from across the state, the opportunity to promote and sell their products and services. There will also be sales of food and drinks, Pride merchandise, and more. Our event is also located close to the downtown area so there is the opportunity to shop at the local businesses downtown who have supported us.
We’re thankful to have several community organizations and businesses hosting a booth to provide resources, services and information that support to local members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. So If you're seeking information, assistance, someone to converse with, a sense of belonging, or opportunities to engage; then this is the event for you!

Our Pride in the Park celebration is set to take place at Anrook Park, located in downtown Lapeer, right across from the courthouse. This arrangement allows easy access to downtown Lapeer, encouraging everyone to visit and support local businesses that have generously contributed to our events current and past.

We have had several questions if we were doing vendors again this year and the answer is a resounding YES!!!
If you are interested in being a vendor and missed our last post or event post here is the link for you to use.
To those vendors who have filled out an responded our event planner will be in contact with you soon. Lapeer Pride will, once again, have booths at Pride in the Park 2025 (June 21st, 2025) and also will be offering spaces for community organizations to set up booths and offer information on who they are and what they do and for businesses to sell their goods! Pride in the Park is one of our biggest event of the year and draws numerous people from the area, so it’s a great way to get your name out there!
Spaces measure 10 ft. by 10 ft. Due to the limited amount of spaces, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to have more than one space, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs. The fees for spaces are as follows:
Space 1: $30.00 for a 10 x 10
Space 2: $40.00 for a 10 x 20
At this time, per Lapeer City ordinances, we are unfortunately not able to accept applications for vendors that make food on the spot (e.g. food trucks or the like). We apologize. Applications for vendors that sell prepackaged food items will still be accepted.
After you apply and if you are accepted, you will be sent an acceptance email and link to complete payment for your booth space (if you’re a business).
Please note that to be considered a Community Organization (and not a Vendor), your organization must be a registered non-profit (i.e. 501(c)3, 501(c)4, etc.).
All chairs, tables, tents, etc. needed for each booth will need to be provided by the vendor/organization. None will be provided.
Please also ote that there is not any electricity accessible for vendors/organizations.
