RE: Arrest Report #35 – Incident Took Place on July 6, 2025

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On July 6th, 2025, at approximately 12:54 PM CST, Los Angeles Police Department officers, in cooperation with deputies from the Sheriff's Department, responded to a series of serious criminal offenses perpetrated by a suspect who was subsequently identified as Jaylen White (DOB: 03/12/2007).
The incident occurred in the 8003 area and red garage section, where the suspect was first approached by deputies regarding a stolen vehicle associated with a recent robbery. The suspect fled the scene by stealing a marked sheriff's cruiser upon approach. This prompted a high-risk pursuit and escalated further when the suspect employed a vehicle to strike Officer Leo Liciaga while trying to get away, causing injury to the officer's leg.
The suspect was subsequently located at a beach area, where he again attempted to flee in yet another hijacked police vehicle. The police were forced to fire shots in pursuit after the suspect had posed an immediate threat. The vehicle later crashed into the ocean. The suspect was shot and was pulled out and provided with medical care on the scene before he was arrested and booked at the MRPD.

Attempted Murder (x2)
Felony Evading
Grand Theft Auto (x3)
Resisting Arrest
During the course of the investigation, an anonymous source, john doe , came forward, providing a sworn affidavit that the suspect had bragged about the robberies and the theft of two police vehicles in advance. This has been corroborated and added to the active case file.
All relevant bodycam video has been collected and entered into evidence. Additional sheriff's units were involved in the arrest; names are being confirmed for this final report. Detectives may seek a search warrant at this time to process the suspect's phone, which was seized at the time of arrest.

LAPD Public Statement 3-4 people dead at a house in la Prepared by Chief Buford Malone FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE While i was at a call i got a phone call that someone wanted to make a report about someone with long rifles at the main clothing store when i arived i waited for a min when a blue four door drove there car at the front i was shot with a glock switched around 6 times barley surviving this happened on 7/6/25 around 5:30pm cst medical aid was tended to me and the sherrif who was also shot on the scene but survived around 5 mins later i got a call from the people who shot me saying they where at my house and had my wife and kids we exchanged a conversation for about a min when i heard around 4 shots being rung off and the call cut out when i arived on scene there was about 3 males down along with a commander of the lapd the location of the males was by my barn on the left side of the property all 3 males died on scene All relevant bodycam video has been collected and entered into evidence. Me, Chief, and another officer were in a call when someone called for the police to come at the station because they have a problem, and I told Chief about it, and then he went solo there, and we heard a lot of gunshots, and we got a panic button pressed, whose was Chief's, and after that, me and the other officer went to the scene and found Chief, and the Chief of Sheriff shot down, luckily, they both survived. After that, we had a 9-1-1 called at the blue minivan with bullets and the metal of the car was driving through the north highway, and then me, Sheriff, and another officer started chasing the blue van, then my head popped, I came back, then they had a visual on the blue minivan who shot the Chief and the Sheriff. After that, I got teleported to the scene, and then we started going to the back of the place, the farm, where the gunners were, I was behind Assistant Chief, he had a rifle, I had a pistol, Assistant Chief almost got killed, then a person came at me with a mini Draco, started shooting at me about 15 times and missed, and I gunned him down with another officer, and then I started hiding and saw two other people, and then the other officers gunned them down, and no one was harmed of the police and sheriff team.
