Meet The Chief

Howdy there,

Name is Chief Buford Malone, but everybody just calls me Chief I grew up down in Peach County, Alabama, where the loudest noise other than a siren was my mama yelling' I was a small-town deputy to start with, patrolling' dirt roads and diner fighting' now I'm leading' the Los Angeles Police Department in the same boots I wore back then.

I didn't get here playing' hard. I got here caring'. About the people. About the badge. About getting it done the right way, even when it isn't easy.

This department isn't all about catching' criminals. It's about being' mentors, leaders, and observers of this city. If you're a wide-eyed cadet or a battle-hardened veteran, I expect two things: respect and responsibility.
