4. We’re thrilled to share the success stories of our research scholars who brought pride to our group with their performances during Research Scholar Day 2025, held on May 10th by the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Kharagpur:

I. Mr. D.K.V.D. Prasad was awarded with the 1st prize in the oral presentation at the "emerging materials" symposium for his impactful presentation on “Prospects of synthesizing Fe-based bulk amorphous alloy composites by spark plasma sintering.”

II. Mr. Akif Faridi secured the 3rd prize in the "surface and coating technology" symposium for his presentation on “Synergistic effect of wear and corrosion in Fe-based amorphous coatings synthesized by atmospheric plasma spraying.”

III. Ms. Akankshya Rout received the 3rd Prize in metallography competition.
