Expectations

Each rider will… 

• participate in 5 shows for the 2026-2027 season

  • Show dates are determined by coach Marcy. The ones in bold are the ones we will attend, italics are make up shows if not able to attend the other shows. 

• • 11/14/2026 Mt. Pisgah at Chicopee 

  • 11/15/2026 Mt. Pisgah at Chicopee

  • 11/28/2026 West Forsyth at Wills Park  

  • 11/29/2026 Legacy Academy at Wills Park

  • 1/10/2027 Lambert at Chicopee (MUST attend, as this is our host show)

Makeup show option

• • 11/1/2026 South Forsyth at Chicopee (Makeup show, if needed)

  • 12/12/2026 Five Star Academy at Conyers (Makeup show, if needed)

  • 12/19/2026 Milton at Wills Park (Makeup show, if needed)

• earn individual points that add up until you graduate high school

• contribute points to the team as a whole

• help take care of the horse before show (we take turns)

• help take care of the horses after the show (we take turns)

• attend practice at least once a week at Blue Springs Farm

• if you attend another barn, you must ride with Marcy at least twice a month so she can assess what class to place you in

• help with fundraising

• Goal of getting at least $1,000 per rider in sponsorships and donations

• Sell at least 1 roll of 20 raffle tickets before the show

• communicate with the coach (Marcy Blue 770-480-1654)
