Our Vision
Lambda Chi Alpha is committed to leading a co-curricular Greek movement built on partnership and collaboration among our undergraduate members, host institutions, alumni, and the General Fraternity. We are dedicated to the holistic development of today's college man, extending well beyond the boundaries of a traditional social fraternity in both practice and principle.
Our brotherhood exists to elevate the collegiate experience by fostering personal growth, professional readiness, and servant leadership. Through a strong and genuine brotherhood, we create lasting impact in the lives of our members, whether through leadership development, meaningful networking, academic excellence, or giving back to the communities we call home.
Joining Lambda Chi Alpha means committing to something greater than yourself. Our motto, Kalepa Ta Kala, meaning "Not Without Labor," is a way of life that pushes every brother to grow personally, academically, and professionally. For nearly 100 years at the University of Florida, our brothers have held each other to the highest standard, and that support does not stop at graduation. Our History at UF
The Epsilon Mu Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha has called the University of Florida home since 1933, making it one of the longest standing fraternities on campus. What began as a small group of men bound by a shared commitment to brotherhood, integrity, and service has grown into one of the most respected chapters in the Greek community at UF. For decades, brothers built the foundation of what this chapter stands for, and in 1965 that legacy found a permanent home when the chapter moved into its current house on Fraternity Row. That house has since become more than just a place to live. It has been a place where lifelong friendships are formed, leaders are developed, and the values of Lambda Chi Alpha are passed down from one generation of brothers to the next. Over 90 years later, the Epsilon Mu Chapter continues to carry that same sense of purpose forward, staying true to the brotherhood that was established so long ago while always looking for new ways to make an impact at UF and in the Gainesville community.

Our Mottos
Lambda Chi Alpha is guided by two timeless open mottos: Vir Quisque Vir, "Every Man a Man," and Χαλεπα Τα Καλα, "Naught Without Labor." Together, these phrases capture the very essence of what it means to be a brother of the Epsilon Mu Chapter. We believe that every man who walks through our doors carries the potential to become something greater, but that potential is only realized through dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to grow. Brotherhood doesn't come easy, and neither does success. At Lambda Chi Alpha, we don't just wear our letters, we live by the standard they represent, pushing one another to work harder, lead better, and become the men we're each capable of being.

At Lambda Chi Alpha's Epsilon Mu Chapter, giving back is more than an expectation, it is a reflection of who we are as brothers. Through food drives, environmental cleanups, Dance Marathon, and other volunteer efforts, our brothers show up for the Gainesville community year round. At the center of it all is Watermelon Bust, our annual spring philanthropy, where brothers and the broader community come together in support of Feeding America, the nation's leading hunger relief organization. In just the last three years, Watermelon Bust has helped our chapter raise over 2,000 pounds of food for children and families in need. Philanthropy is not a box we check at the end of the semester, it is one of the truest expressions of what this chapter stands for.

Associate Member Dues
Associate Member Dues
$2,672 per semester. Dues cover more than just membership. They go toward maintaining the chapter house, funding brotherhood events, and keeping our community thriving. Dues also include lunch five days a week and dinner four days a week, all freshly prepared by our private chef, because we believe taking care of our brothers in every way is what sets us apart.

Involvement
Our brothers are among the most active and engaged students on campus, participating in organizations such as Dance Marathon, Student Government, Blue Key, and many more. We believe that a well-rounded brother is one who leads not just within our walls, but across the entire University of Florida community.
Academic Excellence
Academic Excellence
The Epsilon Mu Chapter takes pride in holding one of the strongest academic records in the Greek community, backed by a chapter GPA of 3.46. Last fall, 46% of our brothers earned a spot on the Dean's List, a reflection of the academics first culture we hold ourselves to every semester. With a membership largely rooted in STEM fields, we make sure school always comes first, because the foundation built here shapes everything that comes after.
