My name is Lalisa Duguma. I have a PhD in Natural Resources Management. My dissertation research focused on the potential of agroforestry as a solution to deforestation and forest degradation while alleviating pressure on high biodiversity ecosystems.
Currently, I serve as a Program Impact Advisor and Nature-based Solutions Technical Specialist with the Global Evergreening Alliance (GEA). Prior to joining GEA, I worked as a Senior Scientist in Sustainable Landscapes and Integrated Climate Actions at the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) and the Alternatives to Slash and Burn Agriculture Partnerships (ASB).
