The trail is moderate-easy. There are not too many difficult passes or areas. Pack a lunch and bring your family, because this trail is not too difficult. You can go as far as you want, but the trail does have a cut off. We went approximately 4 kilometers, bring a lunch and find a nice spot to take a break and overlook the African Coast.
Most of the trail is well marked so you know to stay the course. You will have spectacular, unobstructed views of the coast for almost the entire hike. If you want excellent views of the Strait of Gibraltar, this is a must-do-hike!
Here is a map of the location. I am also including the link, you can click directly on it to get you to the rights spot. Parking near the entrance is limited, but you will see there are plenty of spaces along the side of the road. Just pay attention to where and how the other cars are parked. As long as you don't block a driveway or entrance, you will be just fine parking there.
Once you get out of the city of Algeciras, you will find yourself on a winding, coastal, mountain road. Watch your speed as there are plenty of blind curves, bikers, and fast drivers along the way. When you get up toward the neighborhood of houses, you will know you are on the right path and almost there.
