Lala Studio (pvt) ltd. is a Sri Lankan regenerative fashion brand focusing on creating an inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community & being the change makers they envision towards a tranquil planet.

"As a part of LGBTQIA+ community we have often been made to feel small and unseen, with no mode of expression and a lack of belonging. This is the gap we wanted to fill with Lala Studio. However we did not want to be yet another fast fashion brand. Hence we combined our passion of upcycling and the community and created an inclusive environment that provided a mode of expression through our upcycled products"

Shakya comes from a creative design background and holds a degree in fashion designing & product development. She has had the privilege of learning from the best in the industry. While Shakya brings her expertise of working in the fashion industry such as designing, merchandising and product development to the table, Vio brings her knowledge in business administration, digital marketing and interest in content production, e-commerce & photography. Vio comes from an IT & business background with her Masters in Business Administration from Australian Institute of Business. She is exploring the freedom from the ‘curse the golden handcuffs’ in search of creative fulfillment & purpose of life.
