Don Finnegan Memorial Classic

The Lakeview Classic has been renamed the "Don Finnegan Memorial Classic" to honor the passing of our founding member and Vice president in 2018

Come and celebrate the start off the year with two full days of competitive and social archery in the beautiful Waikato

This year we have scheduled the classic over the weekend 17 &18 January 2026

• This Event is open to all archers

• Competitors Shoot 75 targets over 3 rounds

• Rounds are a mixture of marked and unmarked targets with scoring unique for the Classic

• Catering for all archery styles including traditional this year.

• 100 and something yard shot at Dons Moa - Special target where whole group shoot together

• Archery equipment SWAP Meet - Saturday afternoon - bring your gear and haggle to sell or exchange

• Lakeview optional Pro/Am teams event - $5 entry goes into prize pool split for top three teams

• Lunches - available each day to purchase.

• Shared BBQ  for Friday night and  pre-ordered dinner Saturday

• Cash only - BYO alcohol

• Encourage onsite camping but space is limited  - camping free of charge

• Registration closes 14 January 2026.
