Lakeside
Lakeside Village Association encompasses a 3-acre lake with 29 homes on the west side and 52 cedar homes on the east side. In the 1970s, during Westerville's expansion, the developer looked to create a neighborhood whose centerpiece would be a lake commonly owned and cared for by over 80 nearby homes. The emphasis was to retain most existing trees and vegetation and transform the bog into a 3-acre man-made lake.
Our community is made up of two self-managed HOA's with Lakeside Village Association residents paying annual Lake dues, while the East side (Lakeside Forest) paying annual lake dues as well as monthly HOA Forest dues. There are two sets of warranty deeds, one for the Lake and another set for the Forest.
Lakeside Village Association is a unique and hidden gem in southern Westerville. At the heart of the 82 homesites is a beautiful three-acre lake with accompanying manicured grounds and relaxing seating areas. The lake and common property are managed by the Lakeside Village Board of Trustees for residents living on both sides of the lake.
Lakeside Forest Association (LFA) is a gated community nestled between the lake on its western border and the forest lthat encompasses the entire community. The 52 architecturally unique homes were built so that as few trees as possible were removed, resulting in scenic views from every window while also providing maximum privacy. Enjoy the lake, sports court, gazebo, pool, and its two parks in this friendly forested community.
