Friends of the Arts (FOA)

Who is FOA?

FOA is a group of Fine Arts Parents and invested community members dedicated to promoting a lifelong passion in the arts by supporting the staff and students of Lakes Community High School's Fine Arts Programs: Band, Choir, Orchestra, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Winter Guard.

Last year, FOA supported our Performing Eagles by:

Organizing parent volunteers/chaperones,
Hosting post concert receptions,
Providing meals for Annual Choir Retreat, and Theatre's Production Weeks, Trips, etc
Providing Senior Gifts for all Fine Arts Programs,
Awarding annual Fine Arts scholarships, and
Providing financial support for Summer Lessons

2025/2026 Meetings

FOA meets for about 1 hour on the second MONDAY of each month (unless changed - see below). Meetings are held in the Upper ILC at LCHS at 6pm:

Supporting FOA

and LEBC

FOA is part of Lakes' larger parent organization, Lakes Eagles Booster Club (LEBC). Together, FOA and LEBC strive to support Eagles in classrooms, on athletic fields/courts, and on fine arts stages. Both FOA and LEBC rely on financial support from the LCHS community.

Membership

All LCHS parents and interested community members are welcome to be active in our organization. All parents with students active in LCHS Fine Arts programs are members of FOA.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have lots of opportunities to get involved. Please come to our monthly meeting, look out for emails, review the current Sign Up Genius as sent out by your childs performing arts teacher, or contact us as outlined below. We appreciate ALL of our volunteers.
