This camp will help a skater acquire the muscle memory of proper skating mechanics and give them the best odds of retaining these proper mechanics. We teach body position, stride, balance, power, edge control, and speed. The off ice portion of the program will consist of explosive movements designed to enhance fundamental position, power, and extension. This will push players to levels that are outside their comfort zone.
Key components of the training will be the skills of passing, playmaking and misdirection along with the individual skills of high speed puck control, skating skills, stick discipline, shooting, and puck battles.
We will train players how to handle in game situations like awareness and puck control stick handling skills such as proper form, quick hands, puck protection, and smooth movements. We provide detailed instruction and repetition.
