All heads of household are responsible for ensuring that their household members and guests follow the rules.
Beach Rules
A current beach pass must be presented for admittance. Persons lending or borrowing beach passes will lose beach privileges for the remainder of the season. A clear picture on a cell phone or tablet of the front and back of the beach pass will be accepted.
Adult (18+) resident members are entitled to unlimited non-resident guest privileges. The member must be present with their guests at all times. Youth (14-17) members are entitled to one non-resident supervised guest. Child members (under 14) are entitled to one adult non-resident guest as a supervisor. No resident non-member guests are permitted on the beach.
No child under 14 shall be permitted on the beach without an adult.
Do not feed the waterfowl.
The following are prohibited at the beach and parking area:
Glass containers
Animals
Fire, fireworks, firearms, weapons
Profanity
Soap (in lake or shower area)
Nudity
Littering
Motorized or electric or battery operated boat engines (of any size)
Alcohol
Illegal drugs
Smoking / vaping is permitted in the parking lot area ONLY.
Boating and fishing are not permitted in the swimming area. As per NYS law, those 16+ must have a fishing license.
Self-contained barbeques are only permitted in the parking lot area.
All boats kept on LPCA property must register & follow LPCA boat procedures.
We will be keeping a record of all members and guests that visit the beach for insurance purposes. Please provide a list of names of any guests that are joining you to the beach guard for the sign in sheet. ID must be shown for all adult guests.
Rules of Behavior for the Pavilion
Adult supervision of children under 14 is required at all times.
No smoking / vaping inside the Pavilion.
No children are allowed in the kitchen without adult supervision.
No running at any time inside the Pavilion.
No profanity.
No entry into unauthorized areas.
Clean up after yourself. Please leave the pavilion as clean (or cleaner) than you found it.
Rules of Behavior for the Pavilion Grounds
Grounds are open from dawn to dusk.
Use of the Pavilion Grounds and equipment are at your own risk.
Pavilion grounds are reserved for LPCA members and their non-resident guests.
Young residents under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by an adult (18+).
No motorized vehicles are allowed, except in the designated parking areas.
All glass containers are prohibited.
No fires.
Footwear is required. (No bare feet.)
No rough playing or profanity.
Pets are not permitted.
Do not use the equipment when wet.
Improper use of the equipment is prohibited.
No littering. Clean up after yourself. Please leave the Pavilion grounds as clean or cleaner than you found them.
Anyone damaging property or trespassing will be prosecuted.
Rules for Conduct of Members and their Guests
Head of household will sign the membership rules (on paper or electronically)
When using LPCA property, members must leave it as they found it. Members are responsible for any damage, whether unintentional or on purpose, done by any member of the household or their guests.
A written incident report will be made when there is an incident.
Multiple or severe incidents will put membership in jeopardy.
Please sign as head of household to indicate that you understand the rules and acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring that all household members and guests follow the rules.
