March 2022

Deployment day

March 14, marks our first day in Lakan Dula, We met the school principal
Dr. Roselyn Mujal.

Orientation

March 15, we had an orientation with the TLE OIC Ms. Jovelyn Caringal. We also met some of the teachers in the TLE department.

CT orientation

March 16, I was oriented by my cooperating teacher Ms. Jane Trubanos about the learner's manual, teaching guide and teaching materials.

March 17, I was guided by my CT for the lesson planning and guide for power point presentation

Class observation

March 18, this is my first class observation.

March 21, my second class observation.

Preparation for face to face

March 22, we setup the sound system

Brigada Eskwela

March 23, we assisted the brigada eskwela, I manned the sound system

March 24, my 3rd classroom observation.

School Programs and putting of signage

March 25, we assisted the PROTECT program, by setting and manning the sound system

we also set up the sound system and projector in the multipurpose hall for a meeting

In the afternoon we also assisted a brigada eskwela. we manned and set up the sound system.

After the brigada eskwela, we helped the TLE department to put some signages for the preparation of the face to face class

I removed all of the old signage to replace it with a new one.

March 31, I painted the peeled coating due to removal of signages yesterday, with a fresh paint coating.

We are still putting signages after sun down, good thing I brought my flashlight with me.

APRIL 2022

April 27, the TLE department had a meeting about 'teacher experiences of stress and their coping strategies. We also helped the teachers how to do the "jumbo hot dog" dance because they will be having a school program tomorrow.

Reflection of the Instructional Materials

The new normal of education in the Philippines, teaching is executed thru online. Visual aids or instructional materials are now easy to use, easy to do, and easy to acquire because of the rapid evolving of technologies. Teachers and students are now using laptop, computer, mobile phones, smart phones, ETC. with the use of internet connection to attend their class discussion.

During my practice teaching, I use my computer to execute my lesson during synchronous and asynchronous session. I mostly use power point presentation because it is a user-friendly software application and easy to use, easy to present. I use google classroom as my platform because it has low data connection consumption and it is also a user-friendly software application that the students can easily use. And also during my face to face session, I also use a power point presentation and my laptop with a help of a projector.

evaluation is a powerful tool that will help you become a better teacher. My instructional presentation will be evaluated using the observation and assessment form. It is the foundation for all I've learned during my practicum or practice teaching at Lakan Dula High School. It gives me insight into my own weaknesses and strengths, which I need to work on as a future teacher. During my internship, I learnt and developed greatly, according to the results of my final display and the observations of my critique teacher. What I need to do now is continue to learn, practice, and improve as a future teacher.
