History

The SCALab and the CIPsi Lab collaborate since 2012, at the birth of the master double degree in Psychology that allowed the two sites to promote several interactions among students and researchers from Lille and Braga.

Both labs work on the idea that effective social interactions depend on the joint ability to detect social signals and regulate emotional responses in various inter-individual contexts.

The Convention of the LAI-ESTRA has been approuved by the University of Lille (Research Committee) on February, 18 2021 and the two labs will work together on the same objectives for a 3-year period (2021-2024).

Research: vision, action and learning (AVA team), emotion (DEEP team) and language processing (Language team).


Objectives: to understand the cognitive and affective aspects of interactions with the physical and cultural world and with the social world.


Techniques: EquipEx IrDIVE plateform (behavioural, physiological and neuroimaging data - EEG, fNIRS)


Research : study of the genetic and neuroendocrine aspects of normal and pathological behavior.


Objectives: to explore how different endocrine systems relate to cognitive and emotional systems and contribute to complex psychological processes.


Techniques : behavioural, physiological and neuroimaging data -fMRI, tDCS et TMS.
