A Girl Scout Ambassador from New York City wanted to meet more aro-spec teens in real life, but the one aro-spec meetup group in her area was comprised of people upwards of their mid-20s. As a result, she decided to create her own aro-spec teen meetup group in NYC for her Gold Award Project.

Who: I am an Ambassador Girl Scout working on my Gold Award Project. This meetup is to bring together aro-specs at LaGuardia.

What: We will do community service, make our own website to educate others about aromanticism (this website!), and you will get to meet other aro-spec teens!

When: Thursdays from 4:15pm - 5:15pm

Why: The other aro-spec meetup group in New York City is made up of people in their twenties and older. This group is just for aro-spec teens at the school.
