Be sure to watch the "Remastered" Videos at the 4k quality setting provided by YouTube.

You may need to adjust the remastered video's settings (click on the gear in the video) and select 4k quality.

The videos were upscaled using the Lanczos method for resampling. Upsampling only estimates 4k quality given the original reference video. As such, original videos with low resolutions (i.e. 360p, 480p) will produce some artifacts when upsampled to their 4k resolutions. YouTube's video compression algorithm may add to these artifacts, so please keep this in mind when viewing.

There are two remastered videos showing the (1) singular value decomposition (SVD) and (2) linear frame interpolation approaches. Only the frame interpolation method is changed between the two "Remastered" videos, the resolution upsampling method and video enhancements are consistent between both versions.

The framerates of the "Remastered" videos are approximately doubled from the original video's framerate. As such, the "Remastered" videos feature smoother, more fluid movements in contrast to the original reference video.

It's recommended to watch the original (reference) video first, and then watch the "Remastered" videos to see the difference between them. Happy viewing!
