My name is Tracey Lafayette and I have been teaching at O'Brien since 2016. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2015 and 2016. I have degrees in Elementary Education, English, and Curriculum & Instruction.
In 2012, I became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. I currently am in a graduate chapter and serve as one of our chapter's youth advisors.
While at UConn, I also CoFounded an organization called Leadership in Diversity. Leadership in Diversity, which is still active at UConn, is a student run organization that works to support students of color interested in pursing careers in the field of education.
My classroom is a very special place filled with exciting new opportunities for your child. We will engage in everything from discussions about social comprehension, to room transformations, to community service, and so much more.
