Lauren A. Eserman

I am a Research Scientist in the Conservation and Research Department at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

My research focuses on four main areas:

  1. Conservation genomics

  2. Phylogenomic studies

  3. Taxonomy

  4. Trait evolution

I work within two systems: Imperiled plants of the Southeastern US and the morning glory family Convolvulaceae. My work on imperiled plants is used to inform species management plans.
